Do you recognize this young lady? The last time we saw her was when the Dutch Golden Age painter, Gerrit Dou showed her chopping onions. She does look a bit worn out today and could probably use some help in the kitchen… Have you been helpful in your home?
For Mothers and Maidens:
- If you are a maiden, why not bless your household with some special help in the kitchen today such as cleaning out the refrigerator, offering to make the dinner or clean up dishes (basically, offer services for something that you normally wouldn't do). What a jewel you will be to dear mother!
- If you are a mother, why not take some tips from the woman above and make a nice large pot of soup in honor of this autumn season. You can serve some for supper and save some in the freezer for that "rainy day"…
